The Champion's QUEST Varsity and College Prep Athlete Academy is the largest independent private school for athletic development in the country dedicated exclusively to student-athletes. In fact, Champions QUEST is the only true year-round sports performance school for ages 5-18! We combine 1) the power of functional athletic performance training 2) elite sports skill knowledge 3) mental toughness and sports psychology and 4) college recruiting guidance to help our athletes reach peak performance and attain their goals. Champions QUEST takes a complete, holistic approach to building our athletes.
MISSION & PURPOSE: The goal of Champions QUEST and the Athlete Performance Coach is to assure that every enrolled athlete achieves his or her full potential physically, technically, and mentally. This position is critical in accomplishing our goal by mentoring, managing and instructing athletes in a positive and professional manner. We believe that accomplishing our goal in this way will lead to the success of our athletes, the satisfaction of our athletes parents, and the personal and financial fulfillment of our professional coaching staff.
Our athletes (7-18 years old) enroll through the entire year and most have the goal of playing in college. We have sent roughly 350 athletes to college sports to date! We are growing so we need to grow our professional staff to help more athletes accomplish their goals as well. We are currently looking for coaches with a Kinesiology/science degree who are previous Female Collegiate or Professional soccer athletes that can specialize in advising youth athletes. We have 80+ female soccer players in our Soccer Academy looking for a female mentor.
**Outgoing personality with an entrepreneurial spirit is a must (as our career path and comp plan supports these traits).
An APC (Athlete Performance Coach) is a strength and conditioning coach that:
1)Programs performance workouts, coaches athletes and monitors their progress, 2)Teaches sport skills to youth athletes, 3)Actively recruits athletes into the Academy, 4)Assists the athletes with college recruiting.
ROLE SUMMARY: Our Staff is responsible for the following general functions; 1) provide all Champions QUEST athletes a successful, effective and fun performance improvement experience that is based on our philosophy, practices, and curriculum (College Recruiting, Mental Toughness, Physical Performance & Technical Sports Skills), 2) support of our Mission to help every young athlete we can by actively spreading the word about the great work you and your peers do at Champions QUEST (Academy Growth), 3) contribute to, and support, the positive development of Champions QUEST coaching practices through idea generation, continuing education, and Champions QUEST in-house training, 4) adhere to work availability schedule and hours.
Part Time Progressing to Full Time: This is a part-time assistant coach opportunity to build experience, learn our proven systems and earn your way to a full-time position on our team of professionals within a year.
Promotion Note: Master Coach Track; 4+ years experience is required and have staff management skills including leadership experience. We need the right person to join our team to grow a Sport Specific Academy. Local network/connections are needed to rapidly grow a Sport Specific Academy
Mandatory Requirements (Do not apply if any of these requirements don't apply to you):
-Outgoing/Extroverted personality is a must.
-Degree in Human Performance, Kinesiology, or similar science is a must.
-NCAA Athlete while attending college is a must. (Women's Soccer team for this specific opening)
-Obtainment of NSCA-CSCS Certification (Or within 90 days of hire) is a must. NASM-PES or USA-Weightlifting also apply.
-Strong desire to have a career and expert positioning in the local sports community (We are not looking for hour by hour or job minded staff).
-The candidate is looking for a place to call home for 10+ years and has a desire to earn their way to a compensation $60K -> above $100K/year with revenue sharing. Facility expansion and multiple facilities are on the horizon.
