Summary

The Manager, ITSP Membership Growth is an outbound, growth-focused role responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new IT Solution Provider (ITSP) memberships for GTIA. This position actively recruits new members at industry and partner events while representing GTIA at conferences and community gatherings. Ideal for a motivated sales professional with a passion for the IT channel and a track record of closing new business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • This is a growth-focused, outbound role; the Manager, ITSP Membership Growth is expected to proactively identify, pursue, and close new IT Solution Provider memberships with urgency and persistence.
  • Drive new member growth by consistently executing targeted call and email outreach, meeting monthly activity benchmarks, and achieving defined new member acquisition goals for IT Service Provider membership.
  • Diligently creates and pursues sales leads, including leveraging other GTIA Community support resources as required
  • Understand and communicate GTIA’s value proposition to key members and prospects, closing new company memberships
  • Identifies and defines member business needs, determines appropriate GTIA solutions, and develops proposals for review and engagement
  • Successfully and professionally deliver presentations to key prospects through face-to-face meetings and virtual platforms
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

General

  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of GTIA’s products and service offerings, industry trends, and technical developments that affect target markets
  • Represents the GTIA Community at qualified industry meetings/events to promote GTIA services
  • Participate in membership forecasting and planning in an effective manner

Key Performance Metrics

  • Consistent quarter-over-quarter increase in net new IT Solution Provider memberships closed.
  • Demonstrated improvement in converting prospective ITSPs from initial outreach to signed membership.
  • High percentage of new ITSP members successfully onboarded to GTIA benefits, Communities, and events within a defined window of joining

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong cold calling, outbound sequencing, and pipeline generation skills with high activity levels
  • Superior Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills required
  • HubSpot, or other CRM related experience
  • Microsoft Teams, Zoom (meeting and webinar formats)
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Superior customer/member service ethic
  • Outstanding level of attention to detail and quality
  • Proven ability to work directly with C-level member contacts
  • Proactive with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a self-driven learner
  • Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively
  • Travel as required (approx. 30%), including occasions outside of normal working hours e.g., networking opportunities that take place in the evenings

Education and/or Experience

  • Degree preferred but not required for the role
  • 3+ years of direct experience in the related field
  • Experience in IT channel sales, particularly working with IT Solution Providers (ITSPs) or Managed Service Providers (MSPs), is preferred.
