LIVunLtd and Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics are looking for energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused Guest Services Associates to join our growing team at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics in Huntersville, NC.As a Guest Services Associate, youll be one of the first faces our members and guests seeand youll play an important role in creating a welcoming, positive experience every time they walk through our doors. Youll have the opportunity to connect with people, provide exceptional service, support membership sales and services, and help keep our facility running smoothly. We're looking for team members who bring a positive, can-do attitude, enjoy working with people, and are excited about health, fitness, recreation, and building strong relationships with our members. If youre friendly, energetic, motivated, and love creating great experiences for others, we want you on our team!

We are looking for candidate with open availability during the following times: Monday - Friday 12pm - 9pm and Saturday/Sundays 12pm - 5pm.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support a culture of committed relationships and engagement that results in increased participation in the client facilities' membership.
  • Ensure an exceptional level of customer service is being provided to all residents and guests.
  • Register members and potential members for the client facilitys membership programs.
  • Competently and accurately enter data into the membership tracking computer system.
  • Create membership sales leads through local company searches, organizations, community partners, and direct individual prospects.
  • Assist Guest Services Director in membership retention and growth goals, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement member appreciation initiatives.
  • Promptly answer phone calls, requests, and questions.
  • Warmly greet and check-in members and guests.
  • Perform quality work within the given deadlines and expectations with or without direct supervision.
  • Assist coworkers in any manner necessary to maintain a collective, smooth effort in providing excellent services.
  • Respond to member inquiries in a timely manner, with accurate and thorough information.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and presentable front desk area at all times.
  • Always exceed members expectations and needs.
  • Wear location approved uniform for each specific LIVunLtd location where you are working.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities specific to the location / building and upon the request of your manager.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • Must have strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a self-starter attitude.
  • Must be a team player, patient, diplomatic, self-motivated, organized, have excellent verbal skills, and a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to observe interactions between members and guests to ensure incidents do not arise
  • Ability to work in high-temperature conditions and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs as requested.
  • Must be willing to obtain CPR/first aid certification.
