Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, established in 1885, consists of 16 branches and one destination camp and employs over 2000 staff - all dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected, and secure children, adults, families and communities. We are currently seeking a Membership Director Floater.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Membership and Wellness, this position is responsible for generating and membership operation deliverables in our branches when there are open positions with branches needing assistance. This position serves as a floater to branches with vacant Membership Director positions or extended staff leave. While at a branch, this role assumes full responsibility for membership operations, including revenue, sales, retention, and service through Member Services.
  • Create and deliver membership and program reports for the branch Executive Director
  • Review and analyze membership data, identify trends, and communicate findings to the branch Executive Director
  • Serve as interim Membership Director at branches, overseeing all aspects of membership operations.
  • Lead and support Member Services staff, including hiring and training when needed
  • Ensure accurate billing, drafts, and payments related to membership and services if needed
  • Achieve monthly revenue, expense, and net budget goals
  • Oversee the front desk and work shifts at the front desk if needed
  • Highlight, plan, and execute opportunities for member engagement and retention

Requirements
  • 1-2 years experience in the YMCA or a membership-based health and wellness organization.
  • Background in membership sales and customer service
