This position is responsible for eCommerce financial reporting and analysis in support of North America eCommerce operations. The role leads month-end closing, forecasting, and financial analysis, while overseeing retailer chargeback account management, and eCommerce-related accounting entries in close collaboration with eCommerce Operations.

Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:

  • Prepare and perform month-end closing from a managerial standpoint, using SAP (CO/FI) module, with a focus on eCom revenue recognition, cost allocation, and profit segment monitoring SEA entities.
  • Generate monthly/quarterly/annual eCom Revenue & Profit statements and financial reports, providing detailed variance analyses against result to identify key business drivers and communicate findings to senior management.
  • Investigate irregular financial trends in eCommerce performance by linking financial data with business results, return rate analysis, discount structures, and eCom expense variances, and communicate findings through close coordination with related business teams.
  • Review/Validate eCom financial planning with Operations team to ensure alignment with established planning logic (ASP, model mix, promotion plan, etc.), and verify accuracy of final Line-of-Business inputs recorded in the financial system.
  • Manage BOPIS(Buy Online Pick Up In Store) program chargeback accounts, including reconciliation, open item management, fee validation, and approval processes.
  • Administer the Manual Posting List (promotions, EPP, write-offs, etc.) and prepare journal entries for Revenue and Profit reclassification and reallocation; monitor and manage eCommerce closing activities throughout the monthly close cycle.
  • Update and manage the segment database to generate SKU-level revenue and profit reports, providing in-depth analysis across major CE product categories including HE(TV, AV, Monitor), and Display.
  • Serve as finance business partner to eCommerce Operations; provide financial guidance and respond to HQ requests regarding eCom performance; support the broader CE Finance organization with ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Skills and Qualifications

Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a four-year college or university; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Progressive accounting or financial analysis experience preferred; prior experience in eCommerce, retail finance, or a consumer electronics environment strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with SAP (CO/FI module) or equivalent ERP systems is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis); proficiency across the full Microsoft Office Suite.


Necessary Skills/Attributes for this position the following skills and abilities must be demonstrated at a proficient level:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and act on financial documents, P&L statements, and eCommerce performance data in line with corporate financial philosophy.
  • Ability to communicate financial analysis and reporting matters effectively in writing and verbally to cross-functional stakeholders and senior management; bilingual English/Korean is a plus.
  • Ability to independently lead financial close and reporting cycles while managing multiple concurrent priorities within established timeframes and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; applies informed judgment to assess irregular trends, reconcile discrepancies, and determine appropriate courses of action across complex, multi-entity financial environments.
