Job description

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Revenue Generation
  • Prospect, solicit, and secure new group, corporate, incentive, wellness retreat, and special event business.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual and departmental revenue goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct sales calls, virtual presentations, site inspections, and client meetings.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and community events to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently pursue qualified prospects.
Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, meeting planners, travel advisors, and referral partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing within established guidelines.
  • Follow up on leads, proposals, and contracts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate client records and account activity within the CRM and sales systems.
Event & Group Sales Coordination
  • Collaborate with Conference Services, Food & Beverage, Spa, Activities, and Front Office teams to ensure successful execution of group programs.
  • Conduct site visits and planning meetings with prospective and confirmed clients.
  • Review contracts, group resumes, and event details to ensure client expectations are clearly communicated.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions from sales to operational teams while maintaining client satisfaction.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and revenue projections.
  • Track performance against established goals and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute to overall departmental strategy.
Team Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Marketing to support promotional campaigns, partnerships, and lead generation efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with all resort departments to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture.
QualificationsRequired Experience
  • 1-2 years of hotel, resort, hospitality, or destination sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Experience managing group sales, corporate accounts, retreats, meetings, or special events
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales systems

    • Knowledge of Delphi, Salesforce, Opera, Book 4 Time, or similar hospitality sales systems
