Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children's wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Montreal.


Overview:

The International Planner will oversee all aspects of merchandise planning to enhance sales and profitability for the specified area.ย 


Key Accountabilities:ย 

  • Plan and develop seasonal line plans
  • Act as the key planner for designated brand(s)
  • Compile historical financial information on product performanceย 
  • Develop and apply analytical, strategic and creative problem-solving skills
  • Pro-actively set touch points with category leads and partner on strategy and assortments
  • Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth at all levels, which include brand, size range, category, style, color and location
  • Plan strategic direction for each season and all levels of sales analysis
  • Analyze Seasonal Reconcile reports and communicate needs to the sourcing teamย 
  • Maintain and actualize financial information to support departmental merchandise strategies
  • Work closely with both Planning and Sales teams on gathering all relevant data for meeting with accounts and participate inย 
  • Voice Global needs in all merchandising/design meetings as appropriate
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:ย 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Finance or related fieldย 
  • 3-5 years' experience in Planning in the wholesale fashion industryย 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (knowledge of AS400 a plus)ย 
  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
