Job description

OverviewThe Director, Strategic Group Sales & Business Development is responsible for driving strategic business growth opportunities across EOS Hospitality's portfolio of hotels and resorts through proactive sales leadership, relationship development, and market expansion initiatives. This role will focus on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, strengthening strategic partnerships within the meetings, events, and third-party sourcing community, and increasing EOS Hospitality's market share within the luxury hospitality segment.
In addition to direct business development responsibilities, this position will support portfolio-wide strategic group sales initiatives, special projects, and commercial efforts designed to enhance sales performance and operational efficiencies across the EOS Hospitality collection. The Director will work closely with property sales leaders, corporate leadership, and external partners to identify emerging market opportunities, support group sales strategies, and drive long-term revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, relationship-driven sales professional with a strong background in luxury hospitality, strategic account development, and group sales. This individual will serve as a trusted partner and brand ambassador for EOS Hospitality, delivering exceptional client engagement while contributing to the company's continued growth and industry leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic business development initiatives across EOS Hospitality's portfolio of hotels and resorts to generate new revenue opportunities and expand group market share.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies focused on increasing group revenue production across the EOS Hospitality portfolio.
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic relationships with third-party planners, sourcing companies, meeting professionals, and key industry partners to support long-term business growth.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies focused on increasing group revenue production across the EOS Hospitality portfolio.
  • Support portfolio-wide strategic group sales initiatives and special projects in partnership with EOS Hospitality leadership and property sales teams.
  • Conduct proactive prospecting, client outreach, and market analysis to uncover new business opportunities and competitive advantages.
  • Maintain a strong presence within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) community through networking, industry involvement, trade shows, and client engagement activities.
  • Represent EOS Hospitality and its portfolio at industry tradeshows, conferences, sales missions, roadshows, and networking events.
  • Partner closely with property sales teams to support group sales efforts, strategic account management, and business conversion opportunities.
  • Serve as a strategic sales resource and trusted advisor by understanding client objectives and providing tailored hospitality solutions.
  • Support group sales negotiations, proposal development, contract execution, and client communications in accordance with company and property standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to support promotional campaigns, brand awareness initiatives, and strategic sales messaging.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, market conditions, and customer insights to help inform sales strategy and business development efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales systems, including Delphi FDC and CVENT standards and procedures.
  • Accurately document sales activities, client communications, account updates, and business opportunities within company CRM systems.
  • Prepare and submit timely weekly activity reports, sales updates, and business development summaries.
  • Foster strong internal relationships with corporate and property teams to support collaboration, communication, and successful execution of sales initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain EOS Hospitality's standards of professionalism and relationship-driven hospitality in all interactions.
  • Support additional strategic initiatives, special projects, and commercial priorities as assigned by EOS Hospitality leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • 5 years' minimum sales experience in the luxury hospitality market is preferred.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major preferred
  • Highly motivated individual who can work independently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discretely and in the proper manner.
  • Self-starter, and possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of successful sales history

  • May be required to work varying schedules and be able to travel
