What You'll Do

As a Assistant Program Coordinator, you will:

• Oversee the daily operations of a Community Living Arrangement (CLA), ensuring a safe, clean, person-centered environment and meaningful experiences for the individuals supported.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and support Residential Specialists while monitoring performance, compliance, and quality standards.
• Coordinate medical appointments, medication management processes, staff medication training requirements, and health-related documentation in partnership with the Program Coordinator.
• Conduct program oversight activities including safety inspections, fire drills, documentation reviews, incident management, regulatory compliance monitoring, and quality assurance audits.
• Assist with scheduling, on-call responsibilities, staff meetings, vehicle maintenance, household budgeting, consumer fund oversight, and communication with families, providers, and community partners.

QualificationsRequired:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in human services or a related field
• Knowledge of and ability to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to successfully complete required training programs and certifications

Preferred:

• Experience in residential services, program coordination, or supervisory responsibilities
• Knowledge of medication administration practices, person-centered supports, and applicable regulations

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Flexible scheduling based on program needs
• Weekend, holiday, and emergency coverage may be required
• Participation in an on-call rotation required

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
• Ability to transport individuals and operate agency vehicles when required
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
