Your future role at a glance

Location: Pensacola, FL

Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Oncology

Department: Oncology

Schedule: Day | Full-time | Monday - Friday

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Manage patient intake for approximately 200 new consults monthly.
  • Review medical records and secure insurance authorizations.
  • Optimize provider schedules and manage patient consultations.
  • Utilize the Athena EHR system to facilitate seamless referrals.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Medical office experience is preferred.
