Medical Assistantโ€”Contract Role

    Location:ย Needham, MA 02494
    Duration:ย 26ย Weeks
    Guaranteed Hours:ย 32 hours per week
    Shift:ย Day Shift (8) - 8:00 start
    Weekly Pay Rate:ย $768ย  - $869;ย (Negotiable based on experience)


      Responsibilities:

      • Perform patient intake, includingย rooming patients,ย measuring vital signs, and recordingย medical histories
      • Administerย EKGs, and assist with basic procedures as directed by providers
      • Completeย prior authorizationsย for medications and treatments
      • Provideย patient educationย and instruction as directed by providers
      • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately
      • Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling, and managing messages
      • Maintain exam rooms, stock medical supplies, and ensure a clean and safe environment

      Requirements:

      • Medical Assistant Certification is required
      • Minimum ofย 1 year of experienceย in a medical office or primary care setting.
      • Certification:ย BLS (required).
      • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
