Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc. (GOBHI) has an immediate opening for a full-time entry-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Parent Educator. This position is a hybrid model meaning it will be based out of the employee's home office, but does require weekly travel to area clinics, which are located in the Eastern Oregon region of the state. 


GOBHI is seeking a compassionate entry-level BCBA to assess, supervise, and provide caregiver training to incoming clients, as well as provide supervision to small clinic based caseloads. They will be required to administer a structured parent training program with ongoing individual caregiver consultation on implementation of behavior intervention strategies. 


Essential duties include:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments.
  • Conduct various developmental assessments (VB MAPP, ABLS, Vineland).
  • Write comprehensive behavior-analytic treatment plans that follow Medicaid guidelines.
  • Semi-annual member progress update reports to continued treatment authorization.
  • Monitor and adjust behavior plans throughout the treatment period in accordance with the child's progression.
  • Effectively manage caseload, prepare and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Ensure member medical record billing is accurate and timely.
  • Train and supervise Behavior Interventionists implementing case specific, evidence based interventions, and goals while protecting client's rights dignity and privacy.
  • Provide ongoing training in ABA principles and practices.
  • Collaborate with families in the development of behavior support strategies and provide training and oversight of the support plan.
  • Provide direct instructions, training and support to the child and caregivers.
  • Conduct parent-training interviews to initiate parent-training services. 
  • Provide parent training that follows the GOBHI's Parent Training Phase Program guidelines. 
  • Write and implement plans for parent-training services that follow Medicaid guidelines. 
  • Travels to meetings or other GOBHI locations as needed.

Requirements

What is needed to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum of 3 years' directly working with children experiencing autism or severe behavioral challenges. 
  • Experience conducting Early Childhood Language and Developmental Assessments. 
  • Experience in Early Intensive Behavior Intervention services.
  • Experience in writing Comprehensive and Focused based treatment plans.
  • Experience in Supervision of Registered Behavior Interventionists.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Technology savvy - comfortable using MS and Google Suite software products. High level of proficiency in Excel or Google sheets. 
  • Maintains good driving record and required vehicle insurance.
  • Education - Master's degree in acceptable field. 
  • BCBA certification with the Behavior Analysts Certification Board required. 
  • BCBA licensure with the State of Oregon required.
