Office ManagerLocation: Baton Rouge, LouisianaReports To: Practice Owner / Practice AdministratorPosition SummaryThe Medical Office Manager oversees the daily administrative operations of the practice to ensure efficient office operations, quality patient service, and compliance with applicable policies and procedures. This position supervises front office staff, oversees billing activities, coordinates payroll timekeeping, manages office supplies, and supports providers in maintaining an organized and productive workplace.ResponsibilitiesManage the daily administrative operations of the medical office.Supervise, schedule, train, and support front office staff.Oversee billing operations and work with billing personnel or vendors to resolve billing issues.Review and submit employee hours for payroll processing.Order and maintain office and medical supplies while managing vendor relationships.Monitor office workflows and recommend process improvements.Address patient concerns and assist with administrative issue resolution.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable federal and state regulations.Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and business information.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Three (3) years of medical office experience, including supervisory responsibilities, preferred.Knowledge of medical billing, electronic medical records (EMR), and Microsoft Office.Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
