Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Electrician to join our growing team in the Kansas City Metro area. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of commercial electrical experience and the ability to work independently on commercial construction, tenant finish, remodel, and service projects. Candidates should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a professional attitude on job sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Install conduit, wire, panels, lighting, devices, and electrical equipment
- Perform electrical rough-in and finish work
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete work orders, job documentation, and material tracking as required
- Mentor apprentices and assist with on-the-job training when needed
- Operate power tools, lifts, and jobsite equipment safely
