- Provide disease-area subject matter expertise on behalf of Medical Affairs to cross-functional partners, including Commercial (Marketing, Value and Access), R&D (clinical development, translational medicine, medical safety) to inform study designs, labels, and postmarketing commitments.
- Medical communications, content & publications

- Oversee creation and lifecycle management of medical content and learning assets (slide libraries, FAQs, scientific platforms, MSL and internal training) to ensure one scientific voice across channels.
- Serve as a key driver of strategy and execution of publications from both global and U.S. perspectives.
- External expert strategy: KOLs, advisory boards & symposia
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with KOLs, rising opinion leaders, and professional societies across Allergy and Dermatology; maintain dynamic stakeholder maps.
- Design and run compliant advisory boards (agendas, faculty identification, briefing books, insight capture) that shape evidence and engagement priorities.
- Lead satellite symposia and educational programming at priority congresses; align with data/readiness timelines and ensure high scientific quality.
- Omnichannel data dissemination & congress excellence
- Architect an omni-channel data dissemination plan (congress, publications, field medical, digital platforms) to meet HCP, payer, and patient needs.
- Identify, prioritize, and oversee innovative and compliant dissemination approaches with continuous optimization based on insights/analytics.
- Set Medical KPIs (reach, engagement quality, time-to-knowledge, content utility) and adapt plans as necessary to maximize impact.
- Cross-functional leadership & governance
- Ensure Medical strategy is compliantly aligned across Medical Affairs functions, Market Access, and Commercial.
- Represent Medical Affairs with Clinical R&D, Translational Medicine, and other Research functions to optimize Medical Affairs strategies and deliverables to educate the medical community, meet customer needs, and provide internal feedback based on external interactions.
- Support annual strategic planning for Medical Affairs; manage budget and vendor ecosystem; drive operations excellence (cadences, SOPs, dashboards) with Medical Affairs peers.
- People leadership, culture & development
- Directly manage and coach a diverse team; build succession and create growth opportunities across in-house medical and field medical talent.

Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree required (PhD OR PharmD required, MD preferred).
- 10-15+ years of combined clinical and/or biopharma experience, including Medical Affairs leadership in Immunology, Allergy, and/or Dermatology; launch experience strongly preferred.
