Schedule: 8-5pm or 7:30-4pm Mon- Fri (some wknd OT)

Media Riders Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Technician to assist in shipping and onsite setup of card readers. This person will need to have excellent communication skills and be productive in a warehouse setting boxing and shipping equipment. A good level of customer service experience is also desired for this role as you will be client facing at times. Please see responsibilities listed below and apply!

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Moves boxes from dock to secure location.
  • Unpacks, cleans, tests, and performs software patching on equipment.
  • Downloads devices and sets up equipment for deployment to customers.
  • Responds to customer inquiries via telephone or in email regarding troubleshooting or installation.
  • Responsible for maintaining professional attitude and demeanor at all times while conversing with customers. Works with client to build relationships and provide value beyond customer requests.
  • Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.
  • Troubleshoots problems with malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment or software applications and recommends corrective action.
  • Documents customer information and recurring technical issues in system for tracking and trending.
  • Resolves retailer concerns raised during installation and/or day-to-day operations.
  • Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
