Overview
About This Position:The Media Planner develops and manages media plans across multiple regional markets for our client, the Lexus Dealer Association (LDA), using a strong understanding of local media habits, consumer behavior, and marketplace trends. In this role, you'll partner closely with the Platforms and Account Management teams, and ensure market plans and reporting are accurate and on time. You will work with research tools like Nielsen, ComScore, IHS, and Kantar, and collaborate with buying partners to keep campaigns running smoothly. You'll also support larger LDA initiatives and look for fresh media opportunities that strengthen the overall media mix. Some travel may be required for client and agency meetings.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop media plans across multiple smaller markets
  • Responsible for assigned market LDA financials including flowcharts, billing discrepancies, and vendor negotiations
  • Collaborate with bullpen to support and/or approve their work on your assigned markets
    • Goal entries and buy authorizations
    • Flow charts and budgets
    • Budget and Billing Reconciliations
    • Financial Discrepancies
    • Maintain digital buys and compile/analyze metrics reports
    • Review and approve spot buys for accuracy based on provided guidelines.
  • Developing Heavy Up/Cut recommendations
  • Ensure accuracy and timely updates of the Master Planning Sheets
  • Develop POV evaluations
  • Maintain daily communication with account management teams and media buyers to foster strong working relationships
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the media community
  • Create and potentially deliver client presentations for dealer meetings using PowerPoint or other presentation tools
  • Strengthen communication skills through internal and client-facing opportunities
  • Lead special projects as assigned
  • Travel as needed to support client and agency meetings and initiatives
  • Attend market meetings as media experts, answering questions about media strategies and performance in support of the presenter

What You Bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • At least two years of media planning or transferable experience
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with MediaOcean (OX), Mediatools/Guideline, Prisma or equivalent programs
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to be an enthusiastic, collaborative team player
  • Good time management skills - ability to prioritize projects and meet tight deadlines when needed
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy on both internal and client-facing work

Compensation Range: USD $50,065.00 - USD $63,200.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
