We're currently hiring a Meat Processor in the Miami area!

Overview:

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida and Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Summary:

We are seeking an Entry-Level Meat Processor to join our production team. This position is responsible for assisting with the processing, cutting, trimming, packaging, and handling of meat products while following company safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist in processing and preparing meat products for packaging and distribution.
  • Trim, cut, sort, and package meat according to company specifications.
  • Operate basic processing equipment and tools safely.
  • Inspect products for quality and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
  • Follow food safety, OSHA, and company safety guidelines.
  • Label, weigh, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or food production experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work in a refrigerated environment, between 34 and 55 degrees.
  • You must always wear appropriate PPE (such as steel-toed shoes, safety vests, gloves, and hairnets) while in the work area
