Work Environment:
Food Manufacturing / Meat Processing Facility
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10–12 hour shifts; some Saturdays depending on production
Overtime Available

Job Summary

Responsible for using hand tools and knives to cut and process meat products that will later be packaged.

Responsibilities

  • Cut and trim processed meats using knives and hand tools
  • Pack and stack product
  • Build boxes and packing materials
  • Strap and prepare finished product
  • Perform repetitive lifting, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous knife/meat cutting experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a cold, damp processing environment
  • Comfortable working 10–12 hour shifts and some Saturdays as needed
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods
  • Reliable attendance is required. Missing any day during the first week may result in termination/non-return
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the facility; candidates within approximately 30 minutes are preferred
  • Previous experience in a cold storage, meat processing, or food manufacturing facility is preferred but not required
