Bark Barbecue is opening a second 8,700 sq. ft. flagship destination in the heart of North Brooklyn (East Williamsburg/Bushwick) and is seeking hospitality professionals to join our opening team.

This is an opportunity to be part of an industry-leading buildout from the ground up, helping shape the systems, culture, and standards of a high-volume restaurant focused on exceptional barbecue, hospitality, and craftsmanship.

Position: Meat Clerk

Bark is hiring two types of Meat Clerks to support our restaurant operations:

First Role: Guest-Facing Meat Clerk ($11.35 plus tips)

Guest-Facing Meat Clerks interact directly with guests while slicing and portioning smoked meats, answering menu questions, supporting cashier operations, maintaining product presentation, and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Second Role: Production Meat Clerk ($20–$25/hour, based on experience | Non-Tipped Position)

Production Meat Clerks focus on meat preparation and kitchen support. Responsibilities include trimming and preparing meats for seasoning and smoking, portioning products, receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring all products meet Bark's standards for quality and consistency.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in craftsmanship.
