THE ROLE

As a Host/Hostess, you are the first impression and the last memory of every guest's experience. Working the front door as a Board Host or as a Seater, you check guests in, manage seating flow, and personally escort every party from the stand to the table with warmth and polish. You set the tone the moment guests arrive and leave them with a lasting impression as they go. The first and last five minutes of a visit are the most critical, and both belong to you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Greet every guest immediately with eye contact, a smile, and a welcoming tone
  • Check guests in and manage seating flow, pacing, and wait times using OpenTable
  • Flag VIPs, special occasions, and allergy notes to management and chef immediately
  • Escort guests to their table with napkin and menu service to Meat Market brand standards
  • Complete all opening and closing procedures, including menu maintenance and host stand resets
  • Communicate clearly with servers and management to keep service seamless
