This role ensures that all meat products are packaged, weighed, labeled, and priced accurately while maintaining proper rotation and storage to guarantee freshness and quality. The Meat Cutter plays a crucial role in keeping the meat department fully stocked and visually appealing, adhering to safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines. This position requires the operation of meat-cutting equipment with a focus on quality, cleanliness, and organization, as well as assisting customers with product selection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut, trim, grind, and prepare meat according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Provide custom cuts to meet specific customer requests.
  • Package, weigh, label, and price meat products accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper rotation and storage of meat products to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Keep the meat department fully stocked and visually appealing to enhance the customer shopping experience.
