Role Description
Define and implement the overall Master Data Management (MDM) strategy to support enterprise data governance and business objectives. Architect scalable MDM frameworks, data models, and governance structures that ensure trusted, high-quality data across the organization. Work closely with business and technical teams to align MDM initiatives with organizational needs and maintain seamless integration across systems.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the enterprise-wide MDM strategy aligned with business goals and data governance principles.
• Design the MDM architecture, including data models, integration workflows, and data quality frameworks to enable accurate and accessible data.
• Collaborate with data stewards, business analysts, IT, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure MDM solutions meet business needs.
• Establish data governance standards, policies, and compliance guidelines across the enterprise.
• Evaluate, recommend, and oversee the implementation of MDM tools and related technologies.
• Monitor MDM system performance and drive continuous improvements for data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
• Maintain detailed documentation for MDM architecture, processes, and governance frameworks.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to teams involved in MDM operations and data governance.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, clearly communicating MDM concepts, designs, and value.
Requirements
• Strong experience with Informatica MDM and related data governance, data catalog, data lineage, and data quality processes.
• Expertise in data architecture, including data modeling, data governance frameworks, and developing scalable data pipelines.
• Experience building architectural diagrams, technical specifications, microservices, PaaS-based solutions, data fabric/data mesh, and open data lakehouse patterns.
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee, or similar.
• Experience with cloud-based data integration solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven leadership skills and ability to drive complex MDM initiatives across multiple teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
