PACCAR Financial facilitates the sale of premium-quality PACCAR vehicles in 20 countries on three continents worldwide by offering a full spectrum of creative, flexible financial products and value-added services specifically tailored to the transportation industry.

 

Requisition Summary

Under the general guidance of the Pricing & Sales Strategy Manager, this role supports the Used Equipment Sales Department by analyzing data, presenting insights, and developing tools that help maximize the resale value of our assets, primarily Class 8 trucks. This position will be based in Bellevue, WA or Lewisville, TX.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Process, analyze, and recommend pricing/sales strategy with accurate information to achieve maximum resale values on the sale of used equipment. Incorporate key variables such as truck specifications and regional market trends.
  • Develop impactful Tableau dashboards to support decision-making across corporate and used truck center sales teams.
  • Gather and analyze data to prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports accurately and in a timely manner. Key reports include the pricing matrix, sales trends, inventory level trends, upcoming lease maturities, and trade packages.
  • Deliver quarterly presentations to the PFC leadership team regarding used truck pricing trends.
  • Support the finance sales team with residual quotes, lease modifications (payoffs, early terminations, lessee purchases, lease extensions, etc.) and prepare trade package valuations.  Develop and present recommendations to management.
  • Leverage AI and tools such as Python to automate workflows within the department.
  • Remain engaged with both the wholesale and retail sales managers to understand market trends.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing & Sales Strategy Team to evaluate competitor truck brands and recommend strategic positioning of Kenworth and Peterbilt used trucks.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Experience driving project initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization, from senior leaders to field sales personnel.

Preferred

  • Experience with Python.
  • Master's Degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • Market knowledge and expertise in determining used truck values and in estimating future values of trucks.
  • Heavy equipment or commercial lending experience.

The salary range for the Pricing & Sales Analyst is $80,800 - $120,800 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
