Our team of Account Managers and Staffing Coordinators work together to refer the highest caliber of professionals with degrees, certifications and licenses of varying levels in the fields of social services, psychiatry, occupational therapy, language speech pathology, special education teachers, para professionals, mental health, addictions treatment, allied therapies and pharmacy. We primarily provide service supplemental staffing services to school districts and charter schools, hospitals, community mental health centers, outpatient treatment facilities, and residential homes.

Paraprofessional:

Under the supervision of a classroom teacher the paraprofessional will provide instructional assistance to students in need of academic intervention services. Paraprofessionals should be of good personal character and have knowledge of and the ability to assist in a classroom environment. Assist in the implementation and follow through of educational programs developed.

Our Client has open position for Classroom Aid, One on One, Behavioral, and Autism Paraprofessional. Students age rages from PreK-12TH grade.

Job Description

Providing students in classroom activities using specific materials/methods designed by the special education teacher and support personnel.

Collaborate with teachers and support personnel for the purpose of assisting in the evaluation of students' progress and/or implementing students' objectives.

Assist in the implementation and follow through of physical and behavior management programs.

Supervise individual students, classroom, library, playground activities providing a safe and positive learning environment.

Assist students with self-help skills, including personal care such as lifting/positioning, feeding, bathroom needs and personal hygiene.

Providing assistant with students with personal care accommodations, including nebulizing, catheterizing and suctioning.

Assist students with physical and behavioral management programs, including monitoring in-school suspension or time-out, removing or restraining students for disruptive behavior.

Experience working with adolescents and/or in educational settings, ability to assist with development of reading, math, and writing skills, sound judgment.

You will need to be Paraprofessional Certified by the state of Illinois.
