Job description

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Math Paraprofessional/Regular Education Paraprofessional through our partnership with Tredyffrin-Easttown School District (T/ESD).

SUMMARY:

  • Math Paraprofessional/Regular Education Paraprofessionals work on student days following T/ESD school calendar year
  • Typical scheduled hours for Elementary: 8:30-4:00p / Middle School: 8:15AM - 3:15PM / High School: 7:30-3:00
  • Position schedule may vary depending upon assignment
  • 11 paid holidays & 7 days of paid time off (pro-rated based on start date)
  • The hourly pay-rate for Math Paraprofessional/Regular Education Paraprofessional is $23.94 per hour

MATH PARAPROFESSIONAL/REGULAR EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work together with math specialist and classroom teacher to support, assist, and implement lessons and instruction.
  • Communicate successes and concerns to math specialist and classroom teacher.
  • Function collaboratively as part of the instructional team.
  • Reinforce and assist math specialist / classroom teacher to increase the learning of targeted students.
  • Communicate effectively with students and teachers.
  • Prepare instructional and non-instructional materials.

Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPRIENCE:

  • High School Diploma, BA preferred
  • PA Teacher Certification strongly preferred
  • Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred

CREDENTIALING :

(Clearances current within 12 months)

  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI - Use code 1KG6XN
  • TB Screening - current within 3 months
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
