Job description

Elementary to Pre-Calculus
At Mathnasium, we help kids in grades Pre-K to 12+ understand math by teaching them the way that makes sense to them. When math makes sense, kids leap way ahead – whether they started out far behind or already ahead in math. Our formula for teaching kids math, the Mathnasium Method™, has transformed the way kids learn math for over a decade across 1,000+ centers in the US and Canada. We are looking for a Math Instructor to help us reach our mission! Part-time hours with a flexible schedule. We are looking for a Math Instructor for both our East El Paso and West El Paso location.
Job Description:
The Math Instructor must have basic math knowledge through Pre-Calculus. We are looking for someone who can teach Mathnasium curriculum for grades 1 through 12 inside our center. The ideal candidate must use manipulatives and examples provided. Training on all techniques and procedures is provided.
Qualifications:
  • Must score minimum required on an instructor math test.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours between 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm Monday –Thursday and Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (We are willing to work with school schedules!)
  • Have a passion for math and teaching students.
  • Bilingual (preferred).
  • Must live local and work physically from our center.
