Position Summary: Mathematics and Algebra Teacher will support students in mastering foundational and advanced math concepts. This position requires an individual dedicated to student growth, skilled instructional planning and effective classroom management.
Reports To: Principal
Knowledge, Skills & Implementation
  • Equipped with academic aptitude, personal integrity
  • Knowledge and thorough understanding of math concepts
  • Tailoring lessons to engage students and expanding their knowledge
  • Display strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication with administration, staff, colleagues, students and parents
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills, particularly in integrating technology in classroom
  • Serve as a role model for our students and community
  • Attend professional development and meetings as requested
  • The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the corporation.

Instructional Leadership
  • Develops and administers curriculum consistent with school districts objective and state standards
  • Teach mathematical concepts including ratios, proportional relationships,algebraic thinking, geometry and statics
  • Manage the classroom with effective leadership
  • Invoke approved disciplinary procedures.
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
  • Be positive and creative to encourage all students to participate and learn
  • Maintain accurate records including attendance, grades and student behavior
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by principal and other administrative staff as designated by the superintendent

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics or related field
  • Valid Teaching Certificate
  • Experience Preferred
