How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement core cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Define secure architectures and controls for IT systems, networks, and applications.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to prioritize remediation.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align security with operational goals.
  • Streamline security processes such as IAM, encryption, and network security.
  • Enforce governance and compliance with global standards and regulations.
  • Integrate advanced security technologies for seamless protection.
  • Monitor the evolving threat landscape and adapt strategies proactively.
  • Lead change management initiatives and foster a security-first culture.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's preferred; equivalent experience considered).
  • 4+ years of cybersecurity-related experience, focusing on security foundations or posture enhancement.
  • 5+ years of program management experience, preferably in cybersecurity frameworks or risk management.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and secure architecture design.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessments, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with global IT and security teams.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
