Saint Luke'sEastHospitalinLee's Summit, MOis seekinga Materials Associate to join our team.In this position you will be responsible for:receivingproduct, deliveringdepartmental supplies, stockinginventoried supplies, pickingand stagingsupplies to fill par levels and departmental orders, managingout-dates, accurately and timely managingcode carts and other critical procedure carts replenishment, locatingrecalled items and process for return shipment, maintainingdepartmental orderliness,rotating stock, cycle counting inventory, annual physical inventory, and all other duties assigned.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds,handle storeroom equipment, put away daily stock shipment

  • Enters data in hospital Materials Management Information System

  • Clean and disinfect medical equipment between patient use to assure it is ready for next patient use

  • Assistswith the daily movement of linen carts

  • Able tooperatea hand pallet jack

  • Able toutilizevarious electronic devices for order taking

  • May also be asked, from time to time, to work at other SLHS CS locations

We areseeking aMaterials Associate withproficientmath skillsas well asgreat communicationskills- written and oral. To be successful in thisroleyou will need to be able to adapt to and become knowledgeableofnumeroussoftware applications.Have the ability tolearn hospital supplyterms, andbe able tooperatesuccessfully with minimal supervision.
