Position Overview

Reliance One is hiring for one of our trusted clients! We are seeking a Fabrication QA / QC Support Specialist to work alongside the Quality Control Manager and support quality assurance processes within a growing fabrication environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with QA/QC experience who enjoys organization, documentation, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the fabrication process.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Quality Control Manager, including document tracking, logging, and material traceability

• Record and verify heat numbers to ensure complete material traceability

• Maintain organized quality control documentation and inspection records

• Prepare and compile Quality Assurance packages for customer and project submittals

• Support shop-floor quality standards in coordination with the Quality Control Manager

• Assist with continuous improvement of QA/QC processes and procedures

• Support internal and external quality audits as needed

• Provide daily support to ensure efficient execution of quality assurance and quality control processes


Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA/QC experience preferred

• Working knowledge of mechanical, process piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems

• Understanding of welding processes and fabrication quality requirements preferred

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, validation, and reporting

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and digital documentation systems

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and planning abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
