Lloyd Richards Personnel is currently seeking experienced Material Handlers, Forklift Operators, and Shipping & Receiving Professionals for several of our valued manufacturing and industrial partners throughout the Tulsa area. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments, operating equipment, and supporting critical warehouse and production operations.

If you have experience moving materials, operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, or supporting shipping and receiving activities within a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

These positions play a vital role in ensuring production teams have the materials, equipment, and support necessary to meet customer demands while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload materials, products, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
  • Move raw materials and finished products throughout manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
  • Stage materials for production and ensure timely delivery to work centers.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against work orders, packing lists, and shipping documents.
  • Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count activities.
  • Ensure materials are properly stored, labeled, and organized.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and material handling protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with production, fabrication, and warehouse teams to support operational goals.
  • Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Shipping & Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or similar role preferred.
  • Forklift operating experience required.
  • Experience moving large, heavy materials in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and basic shop communications.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Preferred Experience

  • Manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial warehouse experience.
  • Heavy-ton forklift operation.
  • Steel, plate, structural fabrication, or industrial materials handling.
  • Inventory control and shipping documentation.
  • Overhead crane operation.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to safely work around forklifts, cranes, trucks, machinery, and industrial equipment.
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding work while maintaining safety standards.
