Masters In Dietetics is an academic qualification, often a prerequisite for becoming a Registered Dietitian (RD). The RD credential is a professional certification that allows individuals to practice as licensed nutrition experts in various settings. While a Masters In Dietetics provides foundational knowledge, becoming an RD involves completing supervised practice and passing a national exam. Both are essential steps in a nutrition career, but the RD credential is required for independent practice and clinical roles.
