Clinical Dietitian
Mesa View Regional Hospital is your community medical provider, serving the Mesquite community and its residents with a full range of inpatient and outpatient care; diagnostic imaging; and emergency, medical and surgical care. Job Summary:
  • The Dietitian is responsible for providing clinical nutrition services according to the guidelines established by the American Dietetic Association, American Association of Diabetes Educators and as adopted by Mesa View Regional Hospital.
  • Provides cost effective (profit-generating) nutrition programs, functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans, and is guided by policies, standards and programs to provide optimal, cost-effective nutrition care to patients/residents.
  • Provides clinical nutrition related activities including in and out orders, and nutrition supplements.
  • Provides clinical nutrition services coverage on weekends and holidays when necessary and physician ordered.
  • Participates in community events that are health oriented on an as needed/requested basis.
  • Maintains two-way communication with the Nutrition Services department.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in dietetics from a recognized dietetics program required.
  • A Masters degree in Nutrition, Public Health or related healthcare field preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in medical nutrition therapy.
  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD).
  • NV Clinical Dietitian License Required.
