HEALTHCARE / CLINICAL SETTING • MOBILE, ALABAMA
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
Full-Time Entry-Level Welcome | $55,000 – $65,000 Annually

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our clinical healthcare team in Mobile, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or early-career dietitian to launch their professional journey in a supportive, patient-centered environment. We are committed to mentorship and professional development, and we welcome candidates who are completing or have recently completed their dietetic internship.

POSITION DETAILS

  1. Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position – Direct Hire
  2. Location: Mobile, Alabama (on-site)
  3. Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year, commensurate with credentials
  4. Setting: Healthcare / Clinical Setting
  5. Experience Level: New graduates and recent RDN exam passers strongly encouraged to apply

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients across a range of clinical conditions
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) plans
  3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient nutrition care
  4. Provide patient and family education on therapeutic diets, disease management, and healthy lifestyle practices
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
  7. Support community outreach and health education programs as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an ACEND-accredited program
  2. Completion of an ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship (DI) or Coordinated Program (CP)
  3. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), or eligibility to sit for the RDN exam upon hire
  4. Licensed or eligible for licensure as a dietitian in the State of Alabama
  5. Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
  6. Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based nutrition care

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Clinical rotation experience in hospital, long-term care, or outpatient settings
  2. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  3. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
  4. Demonstrated interest in continued education and specialty certification
