Job description

Master Planner

The Opportunity:

When an organization has multiple moving parts in its processes, it can be difficult to critically examine them. To be more efficient and effective, it needs a business process specialist to learn its master planning processes end-to-end and provide ways to change for the better. That's why we need you, a business process specialist who can analyze every aspect of your customer's operations and give them the steps to improve their process.

As a business process specialist on our team, you'll analyze your client's current operating environment and identify areas for improvement. You'll analyze discussions with leadership and master planning staff at all echelons that will help refine your client's definition of success and identify current frustrations. You'll work on the design of data collection plans, facilitate workshops, and communicate your research and illustrative analysis using current Army policies for master planning and provide analysis of their impact on the Army to help establish understanding and agreement from key decision makers.

On our team, you'll use continuous process improvement to provide your client with recommendations along with a grasp of the quantitative or qualitative results they can expect. This is your chance to gain experience in Master Planning while furthering your process improvement and project management skills.

You Have:

  • Experience providing in-person Master Planning support and training

  • Knowledge of Master Planning or Urban Planning

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time in support of training

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Army Real Property Planning and Analysis System (RPLANS), Army Stationing Installation Plan (ASIP), and Master Planning

  • Experience with Master Planning in the Army

  • Knowledge of Army data base systems that are interconnected to RPLANS and ASIP such as Headquarters Installation Information System (HQIIS), Engineer Management Automation Army Reserve (EMAAR), and Planning Resource for Infrastructure Development and Evaluation (PRIDE)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
