Job Description
Qualifications
• Manage master data, reference data, metadata, content and document management systems and business data requirements
• Server as business steward of the metadata repository, including related enterprise processes related to its use. Contribute content to and maintain the repository. Serve as the main point of contract for users of the repository for non-technical concerns.
• Create and maintain training curriculum for metadata repositories including how-to, standards, and best practices. Contribute to all training material and documentation.
• Partner with the Item Data Governance Council to define and maintain enterprise business data management policies.
• Provide guidance on non-technical changes to metadata repository with data owners, metric owners, and Client Technology.
• Asses and analyze the non-technical impacts of any data policy changes on the metadata repository. Work with Client Technology to create a full impact analysis (technical and non-technical). Work with Corporate Information Security (CIS) on requirements for protecting data.
• Manage implementation and administration of data policy changes from a non-technical standpoint.
• Audit and identify (non-technical) areas that are out of compliance with enterprise master data management processes, and assist in efforts to achieve compliance.
• Participate in enterprise master data management vision and strategies, including tools, architecture, and processes related to the capture and exchange of data.
• Support the implementation of a standardized reporting vision across the enterprise through ensuring that the metadata repository contains the appropriate metrics with correct source and calculation definitions.
• Review and enhance processes that involve master data and reference data including impact analysis in phased implementations.
