We are looking for O2C Master Data Functional Lead for our client in Maumee, OH or Novi, MI.

Job Location: Maumee, OH or Novi, MI

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in ERP functional roles, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, or Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Deep functional expertise in Order-to-Cash business processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and/or Oracle ERP master data structures and governance processes.
  • Proven experience leading master data cleansing, harmonization, or ERP transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of customer master, sales master, pricing master, credit management, billing, shipping, and related O2C data domains.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data assessment capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Order-to-Cash master data governance standards and policies.
  • Define and document business rules, data definitions, ownership models, and approval workflows.
  • Establish standards for creation, maintenance, and retirement of master data objects.
  • Drive adoption of data governance processes across business functions and regions.
  • Assess current-state SAP and Oracle master data quality and identify gaps, duplicates, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.
  • Lead data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, standardization, and validation activities.
  • Work with business stakeholders to resolve data ownership and data quality issues.
  • Define remediation strategies and oversee execution of large-scale cleanup initiatives.
  • Monitor and report key master data quality metrics and improvement progress.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and other business teams to understand master data requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to define future-state data standards and governance processes.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and data governance requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on master data-related decisions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for O2C-related master data across SAP and Oracle applications.
  • Partner with ERP functional teams to ensure proper configuration supports governance and data quality objectives.
  • Develop training materials, process documentation, and work instructions.
  • Establish data stewardship responsibilities and operating procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to sustain long-term data quality.

  • Experience working in global manufacturing environments.
