Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP master data management with a focus on Vendor Master.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Finance modules (FI-AP) and their integration with Procurement (MM).
  • Proven track record leading at least two large-scale data harmonization, cleansing, or migration projects.
  • Strong proficiency in data profiling and migration tools (e.g., SAP LSMW, Winshuttle, SAP MDG, or SQL).
  • Advanced understanding of global tax requirements (W-8/W-9, VAT, GST) and banking configurations (IBAN, SWIFT).

Responsibilities:

  • Define global vendors master data standards, and data governance policies.
  • Establish data validation rules for critical financial fields like bank details, tax IDs, and payment terms.
  • Design future-state data update workflows approvals to prevent the reintroduction of duplicate or poor-quality data.
  • Lead enterprise-wide vendor data profiling to identify duplicates, inactive accounts, and missing records.
  • Coordinate with regional Finance and Procurement leads to validate and enrich vendor information.
  • Define and execute automated and manual data cleansing strategies using SAP-native tools or specialized software.
  • Map legacy SAP ECC vendor data structures and fields to the harmonized target model.
  • Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL processes) for financial vendor data.
  • Lead reconciliation and validation cycles (mock data loads) to ensure 100% financial accuracy before go-live.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of core components like MM (Material Management) and FI (Financial Accounting).
  • Expertise in managing key objects on Vendors Master records.
  • Ability to move and transform data safely using tools like LSMW or SAP S/4HANA migration workbenches without corruption.
  • Understanding how master data flows across SAP and non-SAP systems.
