Job Description
The Marketing & Outreach Manager leads the school's efforts to build awareness, strengthen brand identity, and drive student enrollment and staff recruitment. This role manages marketing campaigns, community outreach, digital communications, and event programming while ensuring alignment with the mission and growth goals of the school. A significant focus of the upcoming school year will be planning and executing the school's rebranding process, ensuring a smooth transition that reflects the school's values and strengthens its reputation in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Recruitment
  • Lead the school's rebranding initiative, including rollout of new brand identity, messaging, and visual standards across all platforms and materials.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support student enrollment, staff recruitment, and long-term growth.
  • Conduct market research and analyze enrollment data to inform recruitment and rebranding strategies.
  • Create and manage an annual marketing calendar aligned with recruitment cycles, school events, and rebranding milestones.

Outreach & Community Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community partners, and local stakeholders.
  • Represent the school at community events, recruitment fairs, and outreach activities.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, and civic organizations to increase visibility and support.

Digital & Print Communications
  • Oversee social media, website, email campaigns, and advertising to ensure timely, relevant, and effective messaging.
  • Create or supervise production of outreach materials, advertisements, press releases, and newsletters.
  • Ensure new brand identity is consistently represented across all communications channels.

Event Management
  • Plan and execute school events that advance recruitment, fundraising, and community engagement goals.
  • Coordinate logistics, vendor relationships, and promotional strategies for major events.
  • Track event outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.

Data & Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance and digital engagement metrics.
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment pipeline, outreach activities, and rebranding progress to school leadership.
  • Recommend adjustments to improve effectiveness and return on investment.

Leadership & Collaboration
  • Supervise staff, contractors, or volunteers supporting marketing, outreach, and rebranding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with school and district leaders to ensure alignment between recruitment goals and marketing strategies.
  • Support advancement and fundraising efforts as needed.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or community engagement.
    • Demonstrated success in managing rebrand and large-scale marketing and communications campaigns.
    • Experience in education or nonprofit sector preferred.
  • Must pass state and federal background checks, including fingerprinting and child maltreatment registry checks.
  • Ongoing participation in professional development activities as required by ADE.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management, CMS platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with branding, graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and creative content development.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends for community and recruitment events.

Additional Information
District Manager salaries will be based on individual experience and within the SY 2025-26 Salary Schedule range.
