Job description

Marketing & Outreach AssistantAbout the Role

EcoWater of Southern California is looking for a motivated team member to support both marketing and basic warehouse and outreach activities. This role is great for high school and college students who want real-world experience in marketing, lead generation, and operations with a growing local company in the home services industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and executing digital and offline marketing campaigns (email, social media, print, events).

  • Support social media management, including content creation, post scheduling, and basic engagement.

  • Help coordinate local promotional events, community outreach, and canvassing in nearby neighborhoods to generate leads and appointments.

  • Make outbound calls or follow up with interested customers to assist with appointment setting and lead qualification.

  • Support warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, preparing marketing materials for events, and assisting with basic shipping and packing.

  • Organize and maintain marketing materials, promotional assets, and collateral.

  • Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to support marketing strategy.

  • Help track key marketing metrics and campaign performance (leads, engagement, attendance).

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing and sales teams as needed.

  • Go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods to speak with residents and schedule appointments.


Qualifications
  • High school student, recent graduate, or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred, not required).

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality for canvassing and customer interaction.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
