About the Role
Canon U.S.A., Inc. is currently seeking a seasoned, process-driven, and strategic Marketing Operations Manager (Manager, Marketing) to lead marketing operations, campaign management, lead generation
workflows, and operational strategies across our organization. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the marketing team, translating high-level business goals into scalable marketing operations, streamlined campaign workflows, and measurable business growth. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a high-performing team while driving end-to-end campaign execution, lead generation, media management, and budget tracking. Acting as the critical strategic interface, you will align team initiatives with centralized functional teams (such as corporate MarTech, Demand Gen, CRM, and analytics) to ensure all tools and platform implementations serve our specific strategic and production needs. If you excel at managing complex multi-channel projects, establishing operational governance, optimizing lead pipelines, and driving cross-functional alignment, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape our growth trajectory.
This position can be based in Boca Raton, FL, Itasca, IL, Norcross, GA or Melville, NY.
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Wednesday and Friday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Your Impact
Strategic Operations Leadership & Alignment
- Define overarching marketing operations strategies, SLA standards, and campaign execution frameworks that directly align with core business goals and revenue targets
- Serve as the primary strategic interface with centralized corporate MarTech and Demand Gen teams, ensuring infrastructure, technology platforms, and CRM implementations serve department strategy and production requirements
- Establish operational governance, standardized campaign workflows, and best practices to ensure seamless, scalable execution across all marketing programs
Lead Flow, Pipeline Governance & Campaign Management
- Architect and oversee end-to-end lead management strategies, working with dedicated functional CRM/Demand Gen teams to guide demand generation campaigns, and sales handoff workflows
- Ensure all marketing campaigns are structured to drive quality lead generation, nurture prospects through the sales funnel, and deliver actionable pipeline growth to sales teams
- Oversee multi-channel campaign deployment schedules, ensuring consistent execution across digital channels, email, direct mail, and media outlets
Campaign & Media Plan Execution
- Manage comprehensive advertising, media, and promotional plans, overseeing media buying schedules, vendor contracts, and agency deliverables
- Coordinate multi-channel campaign assets, aligning digital marketing, paid media, print, and event communications into cohesive customer journeys
- Partner with campaign leads and product stakeholders to evaluate media performance, optimize advertising spend, and maximize channel reach
Project & Budget Management
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of complex, high-visibility marketing projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and to brand
standards
- Direct program financial operations, managing department budgets, tracking monthly invoices, reconciling expenses, and driving ROI across marketing investments
- Establish transparent tracking systems and resource allocations to streamline operational workflows across multiple concurrent campaigns
Analytics, Reporting & Performance Optimization
- Partner with functional analytics resources to build performance dashboards, measure campaign attribution metrics, and evaluate KPIs across lead generation programs
- Translate campaign data, channel analytics, and performance insights into actionable strategy refinements for sales and marketing leadership
- Continuously monitor campaign conversion rates, database deliverability, and workflow performance to optimize ongoing marketing efficiency
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Lead, mentor, and develop marketing operations and campaign specialists, fostering a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence and accountability
- Build strong collaborative partnerships with segment leads, product teams, sales leadership, and corporate marketing functions to drive consistent execution and pipeline results
- Act as a central operational liaison, providing sales enablement updates, campaign timelines, and operational guidance to sales teams and internal analysts
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Experience: 7 plus years of progressive experience in marketing operations, project management, campaign execution, and lead generation, with a proven track record of managing complex marketing programs
- People Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and developing teams, with strong management capabilities in holding cross-functional partners accountable to execution timelines
- Marketing Operations & Process Strength: Deep expertise in establishing marketing operational frameworks, campaign workflows, project management methodologies, and lead management processes
- Lead Generation & Campaign Management: Strong background in managing multi-channel lead generation programs, campaign funnels, paid media schedules, and digital nurture strategies
- Strategic Interface & Alignment: Proven ability to act as a strategic liaison between business units and functional enterprise teams (such as corporate IT, MarTech, CRM, or Demand Generation) without requiring direct system engineering responsibilities
- Budget & Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated experience managing multi-faceted project roadmaps, vendor contracts, and complex marketing budgets
- Analytical Mindset: Strong capability to interpret campaign metrics, lead flow data, and performance analytics to guide decision-making and continuous process improvement
- Communication & Collaboration: Superior verbal, written, and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex operational strategies to executive stakeholders
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- PMP or advanced degree is a plus
Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
Individual must possess a clean valid state driver's license in order to obtain the position
This position requires driving, therefore a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies
In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated salary range for this role, $96,880 - $145,090.
