Title: Customer Marketing & Operations, West

Level: L6

Location: Calgary

Function: Sales - Chain Retail / Customer Marketing & Operations

Manager: Sales Director, Chain Retail

ROLE PURPOSE:

Support customer marketing and operations for the West Chain Retail business, helping convert brand, category, and customer plans into timely execution, broker coordination, materials, and operational follow-through.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate customer marketing and operational execution for West chain retail customers and broker partners.
  • Support activation calendars, customer materials, planogram/merchandising inputs, launch readiness, and execution trackers.
  • Partner with KAMs, Category Manager, Marketing, CSP, Supply, Finance, and brokers to resolve issues and maintain execution discipline.
  • Monitor customer deadlines, planogram windows, service issues, data inputs, samples/assets, and follow-up actions.
  • Support with Customer listings applications with government board of AGLC and SLGA
  • Prepare performance updates, customer meeting materials, action logs, and operational reports.
  • Support translation of brand/category plans into customer-ready tools and field execution guidance.
  • Identify process improvements that improve broker coordination, customer service, and market execution.

Key Outputs:

  • Execution calendars, operational trackers, and status reports for West.
  • Customer materials, activation support, launch-readiness documents, and action logs.
  • Broker and customer follow-up summaries.
  • Performance snapshots and execution scorecards.
  • Improvement recommendations for customer marketing and operations routines.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years of customer marketing, sales operations, retail operations, broker coordination, commercial operations, or project coordination experience.
  • Strong organization, communication, detail management, and cross-functional follow-through.
  • Understanding of chain retail, planogram windows, customer materials, or merchandising preferred.
  • Ability to work with KAMs, brokers, Marketing, CSP, Supply, and Finance partners.
  • Comfort managing multiple deadlines and customer-specific requirements.

Compensation Range: $57,750.00 CAD - $96,250.00 CAD
