This is a senior, hands-on role for an industry-oriented marketer who thrives at the intersection of strategic thinking and modern marketing execution-someone energized by change, comfortable with complexity, and passionate about the applied use of AI to elevate everything marketing does.

What You'll Do

Industry & Market Leadership

  • Lead the design and execution of integrated marketing strategies for Retail, Consumer Goods, and Products across US and Canada, supporting Avanade's Mid-Market clients.
  • Partner with industry subject matter experts, sales, and market leadership to align marketing programs with growth priorities, pipeline needs, and client agendas.
  • Build and activate marketing plans that strengthen Avanade's industry positioning, support deal origination, and enhance market perception.

Campaigns, Content & Thought Leadership

  • Develop industry-relevant content, experiences, and campaigns that demonstrate Avanade's depth, differentiation, and impact across the Retail and Consumer Goods landscape.
  • Activate marketing programs supporting priority clients, new prospective accounts, and growth initiatives.
  • Translate complex industry, technology, and transformation narratives into clear, compelling messaging for senior industry buyers.

AI-Enabled, Insight-Led Marketing

  • Champion AI-powered marketing-actively using and experimenting with AI tools to improve how marketing is planned, produced, and optimized.
  • Apply AI to accelerate content creation, enhance personalization, surface insights, and improve marketing effectiveness at scale.
  • Leverage platforms such as Accenture SynOps, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and advanced martech to identify opportunities and make smarter, faster decisions.

Insights, Analytics & Performance

  • Lead audience and buyer research to understand evolving Retail and Consumer Goods priorities, challenges, and purchasing behaviors.
  • Define success metrics and measure marketing performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Use data, analytics, and rapid experimentation to continuously refine campaigns and demonstrate clear business impact.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Influence

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across a complex, matrixed global organization.
  • Act as a connector across industry, marketing, and sales teams-driving alignment, momentum, and shared outcomes.
  • Operate with confidence, clarity, and credibility at the most senior levels.

Who You Are

You are an industry-oriented marketing leader who brings a genuine point of view on Retail and Consumer Goods and the role marketing can play in driving relevance and growth. You lead with client-centricity, integrity, and accountability-and you're energized by innovation, change, and the applied use of AI in everyday work.

You balance strategic thinking with operational rigor, and you value inclusion, collaboration, and building strong partnerships across a complex organization. You're motivated to grow your career at Accenture and help define what modern industry marketing looks like.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of marketing experience in professional services or a complex B2B environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong full-funnel marketing expertise across events, digital, social, email, and targeted outreach.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to influence at senior levels.
  • Collaborative, curious, and passionate about the future of marketing and AI.
  • Microsoft Dynamics or comparable CRM platform experience.
