Marketing Manager
In the Marketing Manager role, you will provide strategic leadership for the business marketing team ... overseeing marketing operations, campaign execution, budget management, and cross-functional initiatives that support business growth. This role requires a highly organized people leader who can effectively partner with not only internal teams but also agency partners and key stakeholders while keeping multiple projects and competing priorities.
This is not a specialist role. We are looking for a broad-based marketing leader with experience across multiple areas of marketing - including paid digital, campaign strategy, content, web, social media advertising, and agency management. The ideal candidate understands how these functions work together and can successfully lead the team responsible for executing them. Candidates with experience in telecommunications, internet service providers (ISP), fiber, or other subscription/service-based industries are strongly preferred.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Product & Marketing, this role is responsible for leading integrated marketing efforts across SMB, GEM, Carrier, and Agent channels. Key areas of oversight include paid digital initiatives, campaign management, SEO and content development, website maintenance, social media strategy, sales enablement collateral, brand implementation, and event coordination.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan aligned with lead generation and revenue goals across SMB, GEM, Carrier, and Channel segments. Set priorities and guide the team to deliver campaigns on time and on strategy.
  • Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns. Define success metrics, oversee performance reporting, and manage marketing automation and email nurture programs.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels. Maintain brand standards and provide guidance to internal teams and agency partners.
  • Oversee marketing communications to ensure clear, consistent messaging for prospective and existing customers.
  • Direct the development of content across digital channels, including websites, email, social media, sales collateral, and case studies.
  • Manage marketing support for local events and community engagement initiatives, while overseeing the marketing budget and vendor, agency, and platform relationships.
  • Track and report on key marketing performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategy.
  • Other job-related duties as requested

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of marketing leadership and people management experience.
  • Required software experience includes Salesforce; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); social media management platforms such as Hootsuite and Buffer; marketing automation and email tools including Marketing Cloud; Craft CMS; and project management software such as Basecamp.
  • Telecommunications industry experience a plus.
  • Willingness to work as a team and independently.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proven ability to set strategic marketing directions and build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Experience building and evolving brands, including customer insights and brand measurement that drive business growth.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to influence and build trust across the organization.
  • Demonstrated success delivering customer-focused marketing solutions.
  • Hands-on leader with the ability to manage team capacity across multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of brand strategy, business objectives, and brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Experience with digital marketing and website analytics.
  • Travel as needed for department/company meetings
