Working on the Kalungi team means embracing self-improvement. We don’t expect perfection, but attention to detail, endless curiosity, humility and the desire to level up fast. We own our work by seeking responsibility and accountability for the ideas we create. We ask "Why?" a lot, and share our goals and experiences to challenge our thinking. Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Have an eye for design and be able to format clean, presentable deliverables.

Company Values

At Kalungi, we want to stand for more than just the outcomes of our daily work. How we do our work, who we work with and why we do this, is critical. Here are our core values to keep us grounded as a company. We apply these for hiring, development, evaluation, coaching, prioritizing and celebrating our work.

We love our craft

We are passionate, curious, and inquisitive about our work. We have fun, infuse soulfulness, and don’t take ourselves too seriously. We pursue mastery, hold ourselves to high standards, and seek to define the best practices in our industry. We’re lifelong learners who grow by challenging ourselves and sharing skills with others.

We execute for results

We believe in doing the right things, not more things. We recognize that a great strategy is only an idea without excellent follow-through. So, we constantly ask “why” to understand every project’s place in the big picture, ground ideas pragmatically, and execute for results with a calculated blend of speed and quality.

We lead with integrity

At the core of our foundation is integrity—a commitment to kindness, honesty, and accountability. Our actions match our words. We operate with good intentions and build productive, positive relationships.

We foster open dialogue

We thrive in a culture of open dialogue. We actively give, receive, and seek honest, clear feedback, then find opportunities to act on it. Transparency is our guiding principle, where spirited debate is encouraged, feedback is constructive, and we commit to continual improvement.

We act as one team

Collaboration is our heartbeat. We avoid silos, embrace the interdependence of our roles, and understand that our collective strength is what makes us unique. Alignment towards shared goals keeps us productive and efficient. We celebrate our successes and support each other through challenges.

We are very excited about the opportunity of working with you! We look forward to hearing from you!
