Established in 1980, the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Inc. (GLFHC) is a multi-site, mission-driven, non-profit organization employing over 700 staff whose primary focus is providing the highest quality patient care to a culturally diverse population throughout the Merrimack Valley. Nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine (family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics), GLFHC has clinical sites in Lawrence, Methuen, and Haverhill and is the sponsoring organization for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency program.

GLFHC is currently seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team. The Marketing Associate will play a pivotal role in executing marketing and communication plans across all GLFHC channels. The Associate will assist the Manager of Marketing & Communications in developing and implementing strategies to raise GLFHC’s profile in the Merrimack Valley and increase its visibility among external stakeholders.

  • Assist in the design and execution of promotional campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email and traditional print media.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Marketing & Communications and other GLFHC departments to develop program and overall brand strategies.
  • Generate written and visual content for marketing and promotional materials, including social media posts, emails, website, video, radio and promotional materials.
  • Assist in the management of social media channels, paid advertising and email campaigns.
  • Assist in the management of the GLFHC website and Lawrence Family Medicine Residency subsite.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of campaigns and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with the Manager of Marketing & Communications and the Advancement team to ensure comprehensive and effective marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with internal GLFHC stakeholders to develop promotional and fundraising strategies.
  • Compile and analyze data to track the performance of marketing efforts.
  • Conduct market research and recommend benchmarking strategies.
  • Prepare reports on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvements and future campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in marketing, communications, or journalism, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving competency with a goal-oriented, results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects to successful completion with minimal supervision.
