Job Summary
  • Demonstrate teamwork to work with the Content Marketing Director to create shows and help promote shows and podcasts via on-air, events or other ideas
  • Demonstrate Leadership to maintain shows and podcasts are utilizing social media and creating engaging and promotable content for website and social media to attract listeners
  • Evaluate information to work with Lead Graphic Designer to create and distribute flyers, posters, handbills, or pamphlets
  • Utilize teamwork and apply basic numerical and statistical concepts to work with Public Relations staff to conduct surveys
  • Assist Public Relations staff in making sure talent is available and in attendance for promotional events
  • Assist with and Post blogs to the website
  • Support the development of content marketing plans with outputs including brand voice & tone, audience personas, content ecosystems, and messaging frameworks
  • Synthesize trends, category data, and campaign reports to identify insights that can improve our content product
  • Apply current tools and technologies to assist with station remotes and events
  • Develop professional job skills by attending any staff leadership & job skill enhancement training
  • Demonstrate professionalism by attending staff meetings and perform functions as deemed appropriate by Operations Manager or Program Director
  • Adhere to all Policy and Procedures
  • Report any and all violations to GM and OM

Required Qualifications
  • All students must have completed all of Core Area F and one or more of the following courses: In house WIT Training Course, COMM 3351-Radio Program Production, COMM-3352 Fundamentals of Television Production, COMM-3353 Fundamentals of Film & Video Production, COMM 4421-Radio Practicum, and COMM-3354 Digital Social Media & Society.
  • Student must be enrolled at UWG in a minimum of 6 credit hours and have a 2.0 GPA.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions
  • Frequently moves Audio/Visual equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across campus for various classrooms and events needs
