The Senior Art Director will shape and steward the look of Apple Music, with a focus on developing distinctive campaigns for the brand. Crafting innovative, inspiring identities and campaigns for Apple's services, products and events - as well as providing guidance for other creatives.
9+ years of design experience building brand identities and campaigns.A portfolio exhibiting a thorough grasp of design principles, animation principles, art direction, typography and visual communication.Industry experience as a lead designer and art director, overseeing the creative development process.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
A passion for music and a deep knowledge of music culture and design.Outstanding conceptual design and problem-solving skills.Strong art direction sensibility and capability to define scalable design principles to achieve results.Experience leading and directing creative projects, from early exploration to the delivery of a final identity or campaign.Effective collaborator who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, capable of negotiating creative input from multiple functional groups, garnering trust and influence.Dynamic communication style, capable of real-time creative problem-solving in conversation and conveying a strong point of view for design solutions.Experience being adept at evaluating complex briefs and are comfortable presenting work at all levels. They have experience leading creative projects and are accomplished in developing a healthy and vibrant creative team atmosphere.Ability to cut through ambiguity and find the path forward, despite uncertainty or challenges.In-depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative process, including staffing projects, providing communication and direction, and giving timely and useful feedback to improve creative solutions.Experience with After Effects, Cinema 4D (or equivalent 3D tool)
