Summary:
In support of Contexture's strategic goals and business plan, the Marketing & Communications (MarCom) Manager is responsible for strategic and tactical activities, including internal and external communications, product marketing, copywriting and editing, social media, public relations, event support, sales/recruitment support, and more.
This position is based in Phoenix Arizona; Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.
Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Support education and awareness campaigns through the development of content (research, writing, editing, information design), managing webinars, developing, and deploying email campaigns, managing social media, community outreach, and media relations.
  • Support engagement efforts, such as developing compelling success stories, use cases, member profiles, community impact reports, and other tactics that shine a spotlight on inspiring human-interest stories related to Contexture initiatives.
  • Develop lead generation tactics and content (white papers, infographics, e-guides, blogs etc.) designed to increase demand and support the Sales, Recruitment and Account Management teams.
  • Support sales and recruitment efforts through the development, deployment, and measurement of strategic tactics.
  • Product marketing including market analysis, lead generation, content development, campaign deployment, internal training, and measurement.
  • Provide marketing support for conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other events.
  • Write newsletter articles, blogs and social media posts, and review others work to ensure proper messaging is used.
  • Manage Contexture's social media and online presence as thought leadership in the healthcare IT industry.
  • Develop educational content and assist with speaker preparation for presentations for virtual, local, and national conferences.
  • Coordinate with and manage vendors and freelancers to meet organizational communications needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills
  • Must be a well-rounded, multi-skilled MarCom professional with the ability to wear many hats and perform multiple functions within the department.
  • Proven multi-channel marketing skills (i.e., traditional channels, digital channels, and social media channels).
  • Proven technical and creative writing skills, design skills, project management skills, time management skills.
  • Prior management experience in planning and executing MarCom plans.
  • Prior experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability in supporting cross-functional teams to deliver results on complex issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish positive relationships with diverse populations, participants, vendors, community partners and other Contexture managers and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work across varying community business and service organizations to align Contexture strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge to recognize and work with culturally diverse populations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be comfortable presenting to small and large, diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytic and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to impact on participants, their clients, and Contexture.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and tasks and to efficiently and effectively all assigned work.
  • Ability to convey a strong presence and professional image.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Education/Experience
  • Minimum of 5 - 7+ years of MarCom experience, preferably in related industries, i.e., healthcare (primary and/or behavioral health) or health and human services.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
  • Working understanding of the capabilities and value of health information technology (HIT) and health information exchange (HIE) in meeting the needs of clients and participants preferred.
