Job description

If you're motivated by the idea of making a real impact this could be your dream job. At Apple, innovation is driven by the diversity of our people and their ideas, powering everything from groundbreaking technology to industry-leading environmental initiatives. We are a team of innovative thinkers, continuously reimagining our products and practices to better serve the people who use them. Every product we build, service we create, and experience we deliver reflects strong cross-functional collaboration, with individuals across roles and teams working together to strengthen one another's ideas.
Retail and Marcom Engineering develops the tools and programs that enable our teams to deliver a distinctive, only-at-Apple experience, with a strong focus on both employee and customer experience while driving a global strategy that sets the standard for excellence. Today, Retail Engineering brings this experience to life for customers around the world, operating across multiple countries.
Our team team is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to support the delivery of a next-generation publishing platform - spanning Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management, Orchestration, and Syndication - that will serve not only Retail and Marcom Engineering, but all of Apple. This role offers the opportunity to drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, business, and operations teams, delivering scalable platform services that support Apple's evolving digital ecosystem at enterprise scale.
Description
Retail and Marcom Engineering, part of Apple's IS&T organization, designs and operates the systems and experiences that connect Apple's products with its customers. The team is responsible for the technology underlying Apple's online stores, as well as the interactive marketing experiences and tools that support ongoing creative operations. Together, these functions power the technology behind every product story Apple tells and every purchase a customer makes.
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Project Manager who brings energy, organization, and a collaborative mindset to software delivery. We are looking for someone comfortable coordinating people, process, and technology to help deliver quality software on time. In this role, you will support cross-functional teams, help bring clarity to day-to-day delivery challenges, and contribute to scalable solutions that support the long-term success of our platform.
You will play an active role in supporting iterative development delivery across engineering teams - helping run the cadences, ceremonies, and tracking that keep a platform program shipping incrementally while maintaining quality and alignment. You'll work alongside senior PMs and engineering leads to learn and apply delivery best practices in a growing program.
You will apply developing technical understanding, structured thinking, and clear communication to help navigate day-to-day complexity and support decision-making across engineering, product, and business teams.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in CS or equivalent experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project/program management, including exposure to coordinating across more than one team or work stream.
Experience supporting or participating in iterative delivery processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
Experience supporting sprint-based delivery cadences, including backlog tracking and readiness checks.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
Experience working in a cross-functional, and ideally time-zone distributed, team environment.
Exposure to enterprise platform projects intended for adoption by multiple teams/organizations, including phased rollout support.
Familiarity with platform, re-platform, or migration programs - including awareness of data migration sequencing, cutover planning, or dual-state operations.
Interest in and early experience supporting delivery process improvements - helping introduce or reinforce iterative practices and metrics-driven tracking.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
Familiarity with basic governance concepts and program health metrics (e.g., scope coverage, sprint velocity) and comfort building simple tracking views/dashboards.
Exposure to project budget tracking or resource planning support across team initiatives.
Foundational technical understanding - familiarity with engineering workflows, APIs, and cloud-based systems (does not need to be deep architectural expertise).
Exposure to coordinating with external vendors or partners, ideally across regions or time zones.
